When you activate your bottle, a small electrode sends an electric current through the water. This process separates water molecules (H2O) into oxygen (O2) and hydrogen (H2). The oxygen and other gases are safely released into the air, while the hydrogen is dissolved in the water, creating hydrogen-enriched water ready for drinking.

- Hydrogen generation: The IonEssence hydrogen water bottle works with filtered drinking water, including distilled, mineral and reverse osmosis (RO) water. Its capacity to produce a concentration of molecular hydrogen in water is around 1000 ppm in a 3-minute cycle and 3000 ppm in a 10-minute cycle. Its oxidation-reduction potential (ORP) is -600 mV or more.

- Safe and Durable Materials: Use of Food-grade High Borosilicate Glass, the bottle body is made of polycarbonate, BPA and bisphenol free, providing a lightweight and durable alternative to traditional bottles.

- Advanced technology: IonEssence uses safe, Titanium electrodes with platinum coating and USA DuPont NAFION - 117 Membrane. The specialized SPE PEM filter acts as a thin, semi-permeable barrier inside the bottle's electrolysis chamber, separating the anode and cathode chambers. In doing so, it enables the electrolysis process to proceed efficiently and safely, allowing the passage of hydrogen ions while blocking harmful impurities and contaminants such as ozone, chlorine and other oxides.

This unique combination therefore enables us to create water enriched with molecular hydrogen (H₂) that is 99.9% pure and safe.
